This map illustrates the southern coast of Java potentially-affected by the magnitude 7.2 earthquake and resulting tsunami on 17 July 2006. Areas of 10 meters or less in elevation are masked in red. Note that the map does not cover the whole southern coast, but the region closest to the offshore earthquake epicentre. The map includes topography, villages, roads, railroads and rivers.
